How to eat Kinako
Topping for ice cream or yogurt
Dust kinako over vanilla ice cream or plain yogurt with honey.
Add 2 tbsp of kinako, 200ml of milk or soy milk and 1 tsp of sugar or honey(if
you like) in a saucepan in low heat. Whisk the mixture to produce froth.
Once it's warmenough, pour into a cup and sprinkle with additional kinako
if you wish. Kinako settles at the bottom of the cup easily, so mix it
with a spoon as you drink.
Just sprinkle on your plain donuts!
Sprinkle kinako on buttered toast with cinnamon and brown sugar.
Put 1.5 tbsp of brown sugar, 1/2 tsp of water and 1.5 tbsp of honey in
a sauce pan and heat. Cook over medium heat until bubbly. Turn off the
heat. Add kinako and mix well. Put the mixture on a baking paper. When
it's cooled down a bit, surface with kinako and roll it into thin logs.
Cut into your desired sizes, then coat the ends in kinako.
